How the surprise unfolds

No stage or set-up is needed. The castellers arrive at the agreed time, perform and leave the space clear so the celebration carries on.

  1. 1

Surprise entrance with live gralla and drum, coordinated with the venue and your wedding planner.

  2. 2

A one- or two-minute introduction to what castells are, in your guests’ language.

  3. 3

The main castell is built in front of the couple and the guests.

  4. 4

A final pilar with guests in the base and a banner with your names or message.

Your guests join the base too

Guests do not join the main castell: the castellers build it first. At the end, anyone who wants to can join the base of a smaller pilar, always guided by the team. It is the moment for the photos with everyone.

Every photograph on this page comes from a wedding where we performed.

When it fits best

It works at any moment when guests are standing and have room. These are the most common:

Drinks reception
Guests are standing, relaxed and unhurried: the most common moment.
Guest arrival
A welcome pilar with a flag or banner as guests enter the venue.
End of the ceremony
Right after the vows, as the first surprise of the day.
Entrance to dinner
Before everyone sits down, to open the dinner.
Between dinner and dancing
When the party changes pace.

Three ways to do it

We confirm the number of castellers and the structure after reviewing the space, the timeline and the guest count.

Usual starting point

Usually 25 castellers

Full surprise

Musical entrance, short introduction, castell and participatory final pilar in around 10 minutes.

Best for: Drinks reception, dinner entrance or gardens.

Bespoke configuration

Welcome pilar

A shorter performance with a flag or personalised banner, without the main castell.

Best for: Guest arrival or the end of the ceremony.

Usually 40 castellers

Grand celebration

A larger base and a structure with stronger visual presence.

Best for: Large weddings and estates with plenty of room.

How the quote is calculated

Cost mainly depends on the number of castellers, the date, the location and the format. The full surprise normally starts with 25 castellers.

Send us the date, the venue and the approximate guest count. We normally reply with a specific proposal within 24 hours.

Questions couples usually ask

Will our guests know you are coming?

Not unless you want them to. We agree the time and entry point with the venue or your wedding planner, and the castellers walk straight in with the music. Only you and whoever you choose will know.

How long does the performance last?

Around 10 minutes: entrance, short introduction, castell and final pilar. We adapt it to the timing of the drinks reception or dinner so nothing runs late.

How much space do you need?

An indicative clear area of 4 × 4 metres with a firm surface, indoors or outdoors. Before the wedding we check the available height and access with the venue.

Can you include our names?

Yes. The final pilar can unfurl a banner with your names, the date or the message you choose, when the format allows.

Can our guests take part?

Yes, at the end. Guests do not join the main castell, but anyone who wants to can join the base of a smaller pilar, always guided by the castellers.

Where do you perform?

Across Catalonia. Transport within the agreed area is included in the quote.
